Ted Lindsay Foundation welcomes Joe Kocur!

The Ted Lindsay Foundation is excited to announce that former Detroit Red Wing Joe Kocur has joined the Ted Lindsay Foundation as a board member and spokesperson.

Joe Kocur played in the NHL for over 15 years, won the Stanley Cup as a player 3 times, and once as a coach.  He is generally regarded as one of the toughest players ever to play the game.

Since retiring from hockey, Joe has started his own business, is the President of the Detroit Red Wings Alumni Assoiciation, and created the Joe Kocur Foundation for Children.  His foundation is dedicated to assisting families in need by partnering with the communities they serve.

“Joe Kocur was tough on the ice and he has that same grit off the ice.  He has always been dedicated to helping those in need and I am honored to have him on my team”, said Ted Lindsay.

Joe Kocur, who joined the Ted Lindsay foundation earlier this month said,”It is my privilege to join Mr. Lindsay and his foundation to fight autism.  I look forward to working together with the Foundation to help find a cause and assist children with autism and their families.”
