The Ted Lindsay Foundation is excited to be part of the 2026 Detroit News Holiday Cheer for Charity, and we need your help!
This annual fundraising campaign brings local nonprofits together for a chance to earn support for the work they do in their communities. For TLF, it’s an opportunity to raise awareness, reach new supporters and continue funding programs, research and resources that improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families.
Voting is now open, and every vote counts!
How to Vote
Supporting the Ted Lindsay Foundation is easy:
Find the Ted Lindsay Foundation in the list of participating nonprofits.
Cast your vote!
You can vote once per day, per person, using your email address. That means you can come back every day and vote again throughout the first round.
Voting is open from Monday, November 2 at noon through Monday, November 16 at noon.
Why November 16 Matters
The first round runs for two weeks. At the end of voting, the five nonprofits with the most votes will advance to the final round.
That’s why sharing the voting link with friends, family, coworkers and your social networks is so important. Every daily vote helps move TLF closer to the next round.
If we advance, the final round will take place November 30 through December 14. During this round, supporters will be able to make donations of $10 or more through FundRazr.
Every dollar raised during the final round goes directly to the nonprofit receiving the donation. The organization that raises the most money will receive an additional $20,000 grand prize from The Detroit News.
